Training Programs

Trainings on domestic violence and related issues are offered to police departments, county departments, outside organizations, medical facilities and other service providers. Annual training conferences are also held for law enforcement on requested topics.

DV in the Workplace

Trainings have been done within the County as well as outside corporations.

DV Special Needs

A desk manual was compiled for service providers inside and outside the domestic violence community in order to better identify and respond to the needs of survivors.

DV Medical Facilities

Emergency Room trainings have been held throughout Westchester. Polaroid cameras have also been provided in order to document the injuries of domestic violence victims.

Police Training

Individual department trainings have been done upon request. We also hold annual police trainings on a variety of domestic violence issues.
