Bring a picnic lunch and listen to the sounds of cool jazz during the free Lunch at Lasdon concert series at Westchester County’s largest publicly owned arboretum, Lasdon Park, Arboretum & Veteran’s Memorial on Friday, Aug. 1, from 12 noon to 2 p.m.
The Lunch at Lasdon jazz concert series highlights local musical talent from Westchester County and the surrounding area. On Fiday, Aug. 1 enjoy the music of ABCs of Jazz, a Peekskill-based group that has become a crowd favorite at Lasdon in previous seasons, proving that Westchester’s local talent can swing with the best of them!
Limited table seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Blankets or lawn chairs for seating on the lawn are welcome. Light refreshments will be available for purchase.

Lunch at Lasdon is sponsored by Westchester County Parks and the Friends of Lasdon Park & Arboretum, Inc. Admission and parking are free. In case of inclement weather, Lunch at Lasdon will be cancelled.
Lasdon Park and Arboretum, a 234-acre park and developing arboretum featuring many species of trees, shrubs and perennials, is a Westchester County Park. It is located on Route 35 in Somers, and can be reached via I-684, exit 6. Head west off the exit; the park is 3.5 miles ahead on the left. Or, take the Taconic State Parkway to Route 202/Route 35 exit and head east; the park is 3.5 miles ahead on the right.
