Petko Dimitrov is Assistant Conductor for the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra. Maestro Dimitrov has been studying and working in the United States since 2001, but has been a student of music since his childhood. In his native country of Bulgaria, he has studied with such conductors as Ivan Bakalov, Vassil Kazandjiev, and Rossen Milanov. He has also been active as a conductor of a chamber ensemble of The New Symphony Orchestra.

All proceeds from sales of tickets – priced at $15 for adults; $10 for seniors, $7.00 for children 6 – 12 and free for children under age 6 – benefit the Friends of Westchester County Parks for the planned Glass House Conservatory at the park.

The gates open at 5 p.m. for picnicking; the music begins at 6 p.m.  Tickets will be sold at the gate the evening of the performance. In case of rain, the concert will be canceled.

Seating at the park is informal and concert-goers should bring blankets or chairs for seating on the lawn. Refreshments will be available for purchase throughout the concert. The Garden Shop will be open during all concerts. No pets are allowed at the park.

Please note that parking is approximately one-third mile from the concert area. Shuttle bus transportation and parking for the disabled are available. Rest rooms are accessible to the disabled.
